Earlier, passengers had to go to the station and stand in long queues to recharge their metro cards, but now you can recharge from home using WhatsApp's DMRC chatbot. Apart from this, WhatsApp chatbot can also be used to buy tickets, making travel even easier.

  1. Scan QR code
    First of all, scan the QR code given for the Delhi Metro card recharge. By scanning this QR code, you will directly reach the WhatsApp chatbot.

  2. Send a message on WhatsApp number:
    In case there is no facility to scan the QR code, you can directly send a message on WhatsApp by writing 'Hi' to +919650855800.

  3. Select language
    After sending the message, you will get the option to choose the language either Hindi or English. Select your preferred language.

  4. Select the Smart Card TopUp option
    After language selection, click on the 'Smart Card TopUp' option.

  5. Visit the recharge website
    After this, tap on 'Click Here'. This will take you to the Delhi Metro card recharge website.

  6. Enter your card number and recharge amount
    Enter your DMRC Smart Card number on the website and enter the amount required for recharge.

  7. Complete the payment
    by going to the payment option and completing the payment. After this, your Delhi Metro Smart Card will be recharged.
