New Delhi: On Saturday morning, the Magenta Line services of Delhi Metro were disrupted from Okhla NSIC to Kalindi Kunj, causing inconvenience to the commuters. the disturbance occurred due to a faulty train. Magenta Line comprises 25 metro stations from Janakpuri West in Delhi to Botanical Garden in Noida.

On Friday, commuters had a hard time after Delhi Metro's Blue Line services were affected due to some repair work at Yamuna Bank station. Earlier in January, the newly-opened section of Magenta Line had suffered signaling issue, hampering train services. The line has been operational between Botanical Garden to Kalkaji Mandir since December 2017, however, the remaining section between Janakpuri West and Kalkaji Mandir was made operational in May last year.

An official told "Platform No. 1 at Yamuna Bank Metro station was closed for maintenance. So trains moving towards Noida City Centre halted at platform No. 3 this morning," The Blue Line connects Dwarka to Noida City Centre with a branch line from Yamuna Bank station to Vaishali.

However, The services from Yamuna Bank to Vaishali and Noida City Centre were later restored.
