New Delhi: Corona continues to wreak havoc and now more than 3 lakh infection cases are being reported every day. More than 3.32 lakh new corona cases were reported in the country yesterday on Friday, killing 2,263 people. The situation has worsened in several states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi. There is a huge shortage of essential items like beds, oxygen in many hospitals amid increasing cases.

Not only Delhi but also Jaipur hospitals in Rajasthan are facing an acute shortage of oxygen. Jaipur Golden Hospital has only 45 minutes of oxygen remaining, while 215 patients are admitted. Meanwhile, Manisha Prasad, Block Development Officer (BDO), Hussainganj, Siwan district of Bihar, has passed away in Patna. Manisha had been infected with corona for several days and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Patna. A private hospital employee has been arrested in Bhopal for black marketing of remdesivir injection.

According to officials, oxygen tankers brought to Lucknow will provide relief to people for hospitals as they will be kept separately. These are being sent separately to the oxygen filling center. However, hospitals in Lucknow do not have oxygen problems. Oxygen is being given to all hospitals. Distribution of oxygen is being arranged and these tankers will help.
