New Delhi: The Delhi Police Friday arrested five people, including four girls, for exposing an illegal dance bar running at the London Street restaurant in the Rajouri Garden area. Police have said that on April 8, at around 10:00 am secret information was received that an illegal dance bar is being operated in a London Street restaurant located at BK Dutta Market in Rajouri Garden. 

After this information, the police team immediately reached the spot, noticed that some girls were doing obscene dance and the people present in the restaurant were not following the corona protocol. Police have said that the names of the arrested accused are Bhawana Sharma, resident of Dwarka, Preet, a resident of Uttam Nagar, Jyoti, a resident of Rohini, Ritika of Jahangirpuri and Shahrukh, a resident of Adarsh ​​Nagar. The alleged accused have been arrested by the police for filing a case in the relevant sections. Further investigation is underway. At the same time, an FIR has been lodged against a famous restaurant and pub in Connaught Place, Delhi for violating the Corona Protocol and not following the rules of social distancing.

According to the police, Head Constable Pawan and Constable Rakesh were patrolling in the inner circle of Connaught Place on April 04, when the two police personnel entered the 'My Bar Headquarters' restaurant at around 10 pm when they found a large number of customers in the bar. Senior police officials said that most of the customers were not wearing masks and were not even following social distancing.
