New Delhi: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted a gang of illegal inter-state smugglers. Police have recovered 20 illegal pistols and 50 bullets from the gang. The police has also arrested a smuggler of the gang. The name of the smuggler caught is being told as Sajid. Sajid is said to be a resident of Bharatpur in Rajasthan.

The police had received secret news that a man is supplying weapons to miscreants of Delhi and surrounding areas. After getting the information, the police formed a team to pick up the smuggler. The police team got information through their informants that a person was going to deliver weapons near the roundabout of Talkatora Park. After this, the police team deployed their team near Talkatora Park.

As soon as Sajid reached near Talkatora Park, the police arrested him. When the police checked Sajid's bag, 20 pistols and 50 bullets were recovered from it. Police registered an FIR under the Arms Act and arrested Sajid. During interrogation with Sajid, the police came to know that he was involved in smuggling illegal weapons for the last three years.
