Etawah: The case of honor killing has come to light in Etawah, UP. Seeing the daughter in an objectionable position with her lover, the father and brother attacked both with an ax. In which the girl died on the spot, while the boy has been admitted to Saifai Medical College in a critical condition. After the incident, the girl's family is said to be absconding.

The case is of a village in the Usrahar police station area, where the lovers' couple were sitting outside a deserted house on Friday evening. During this time, the girl's father and brother came out from there and they saw both of them in an objectionable position. Seeing their daughter together, both father and brother turned red with anger and caught them and tied them with a rope. After this, the father-son stabbed the lover's couple with an ax. The girl died on the spot in the attack, while some of the boy's breath had survived.

As soon as the information on the incident was received, ASP villagers Omvir Singh, CO Bharthana, Police Station along Usrahar Police Force reached the spot. The police took the body of the girl and took it for postmortem and sent the seriously injured youth to the hospital. ASP Omvir Singh has stated that there is a case of love affair behind the incident. The accused are absconding, teams have been formed to apprehend them. Precautionary police forces have been deployed in the village.
