New Delhi: Drones have appeared at the Red Fort in the national capital Delhi. In fact, the drone was flying over the Red Fort last Monday. After which Delhi Police immediately took action and seized the drone. According to police, a web series was being shot at Road Vijay Ghat behind the Red Fort on August 2. Drones were used during the shooting and that drone was taken over the Red Fort.

As soon as the Delhi Police staff saw the drone, they were alerted and then placed on the drone. The drone was seized as soon as it landed. Those shooting the web series did not have permission to fly drones. Police have registered a case under 188 and seized the drone. The police are investigating the case. The incident has also opened up claims of strong police security arrangements.

Commissioner issues alert
On the occasion of Independence Day, a special alert has been issued by the Delhi Police Commissioner on security in the national capital. Commissioner Rakesh Asthana had recently held a meeting of senior police officials and directed them to make elaborate security arrangements. It specifically asked for a drone monitor. Drones were banned without permission. Even then, questions are being raised about the system for flying drones over the Red Fort.
