New Delhi: After Delhi BJP unit spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga expressed apprehensions about his security, Delhi police on Saturday said it will make necessary security arrangements for him. The Punjab Police had arrested Bagga from his house in Delhi's Janakpuri on Friday, but the Delhi Police had brought him back from Haryana saying that the Punjab Police did not give him any information regarding the arrest.

A senior official said that Bagga has expressed fear about his safety. We will make necessary security arrangements. The Delhi Police had registered a case of kidnapping against Punjab police on Friday on the complaint of Bagga's father Pritpal Singh Bagga. His father had alleged that some people came to his house around 8 am and took away his son.

According to Delhi Police officials, Bagga, the national secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), was arrested in connection with a case registered against him in Mohali last month. He was produced before a magistrate late on Friday night. Preetpal Bagga said his son had returned home around 1 pm with his friends and supporters.
