New Delhi: The weather is also taking a turn amid the corona havoc. Now, from today i.e. Sunday, Delhiites can get relief from the scorching heat of the sun. In fact, it is expected to be cloudy for three days from today. This may lead to a drop in temperature. But more relief from the heat is yet to be expected. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 39 and the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees today. Light rain is also likely to occur in some areas.

On the other hand, the Regional Meteorological Department said that the temperature in Delhi was 37 degrees below normal last Saturday. 5 degree Celsius and minimum temperature equal to normal 26. 6 degree Celsius was recorded. In addition, the humidity level in the air was recorded at a maximum of 69 per cent and a minimum of 41 per cent in the last 24 hours. As per the recent information received from the Meteorological Department, delhi is likely to receive light rain from 31st May to 1st June due to active western disturbances. Let us also tell you that this is expected to bring down the temperature somewhat, though Delhi will have to wait for the monsoon rains now.

In fact, the south-west monsoon has moved ahead in most parts of the Southeast and West Central Bay of Bengal, though the temperature is crossing 40 degrees in the states of North India such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. Moreover, the Met department has said that these conditions are becoming favourable for the monsoon. The monsoon is likely to hit Kerala from May 30-31.
