New Delhi: Schools have been closed again due to the pollution (Delhi Pollution) problem in the country's capital Delhi. The order of the Arvind Kejriwal government of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will come into effect from Friday. Delhi-NCR has been recording a steady rise in pollution levels for the past one month. Even today, pollution levels remained extremely high in many places.
In some parts of Delhi-NCR, the level crossed 600. The apex court is constantly hearing on pollution. The court also heard on Thursday, raising the issue of schools being open. The Supreme Court slammed the Delhi government and asked why schools were opened amidst pollution. The apex court asked why children are going to school in the morning fog when elders are working from home.
The apex court said that you are saying that the parents of the child should send if they want to send them to school, otherwise do not send them. The Supreme Court has asked the Delhi government to take a stand on opening schools and offices. The Delhi government has announced the closure of schools following a strong reprimand from the Supreme Court.
