 New Delhi: The Delhi government's Department of Environment and Delhi Pollution Control board on Wednesday will be conducting the trial run of the "anti-smog gun" in the attendance of Environment Minister Imran Hussain.

The test will be carried out in Delhi's Anand Vihar area.

The device is associated to a water tank and accumulated on a vehicle and can be taken from corner to corner the city to spray water to settle the dust and other suspended particles which find in the air.

In addition Two days ago, Delhi Health Minister Manish Sisodia evaluated the working procedure of the anti-smog gun.

Sushant Saini, Managing Director of Cloud Tech, the company which articulated the Anti-Smog Gun, said IANS that it can spray water up to a height of 50 metres and the consequences were constructive as the spray performs like rain and settles dust particles and also PM 2.5.

Saini said that government would carry out another trial on Wednesday (December 20) at Anand Vihar ISBT and pollutants status before and after the trial will be calculated.

Saini stated the device would ask price around Rs 20 lakh but added that no decision has been in use on whether the company would put up this device for sale or make available its services to the government.
