New Delhi: The people of the national capital Delhi have been suffering from heat and humidity for some time now. The bright sun has made people's conditions worse. The air of the cooler and wings is not having any effect. Due to the lack of wind, the heat has to bear more havoc. However, the Meteorological Department has given good news to Delhiites. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky of Delhi-NCR will be cloudy on Saturday. Light rain is also expected.  

IMD has predicted that light rain may start in Delhi-NCR from Saturday, which is expected to continue throughout the week. The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal, and the maximum is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius, the IMD bulletin said. The relative humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 82 per cent.

According to data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in the 'moderate' (104) category at around 9 am. An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor,' and 401 and 500 'severe.'
