New Delhi: Cold wave conditions continue to prevail in Delhi and cold wave conditions have hit north India. In Delhi, fog has once again raised the problems of the people. The speed of passengers has slowed down due to low visibility. In the morning , the temperature declined considerably in different parts of Delhi .

While the Palam area recorded a temperature of 6.2 degrees in the morning, Safdarjung recorded 4.4 degrees. The MET department said the weather will remain the same for the next two to three days. Temperatures may also drop. North India is experiencing severe cold conditions. The worst is the situation in Jammu and Kashmir where winter has broken the record for the past several years. In Pahalgam, mercury fell to minus 12 degrees. Gulmarg also recorded a temperature of minus 10 degrees. Srinagar also recorded a minimum temperature of minus 7.8 degrees on Wednesday, the lowest in the last 9 years.

In Srinagar, dal lake has also been completely frozen due to cold. An Indigo flight at Srinagar airport reached the highest level of snow dunes that had gathered before take off yesterday. The engine of the aircraft is moving from a pile of ice. However, no damage was caused to the aircraft and passengers. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has instructed the administration to remove snow from the city routes at the earliest and provide assistance to the affected people.
