New Delhi: The killing of 2 cab drivers in the country's capital Delhi on Friday night has stirred up. This is the case with the Central District. Police have also arrested 2 accused in the case. According to police, the accused had booked the cab from the stolen phone. The drivers of both cabs were then killed with the intention of looting. Police are currently on the lookout for other accomplices of the accused.
Central District Police said Imagenath used to drive ola-uber cabs. A man had booked his cab from Anand Parvat area after 12:30 pm on Thursday, but the family members could not find any trace of Imagenath since 1:00 pm, nor could he call his number. Meanwhile, Pink Bagh police recovered a cab of Haryana number parked on the road. This seizure occurred Friday morning. When the police launched an investigation based on the number plate, Imagenath's family was contacted and it was found that the cab belonged to Imagenath. Meanwhile, Imagenath's body was also recovered from a drain in Bharat Nagar area.
On the same day, the body of anil yadav, a driver, was also recovered in a cab in Anand Parvat area. It both seemed the same case. After which the police arrested two miscreants Akash and Junaid through technical surveillance. Police are on the lookout for them as well as mastermind Pritam. Inquiries revealed that the killers had booked the cab from the stolen mobile. They intended to rob, after which the cab driver was killed.
