Jaipur: The police has got a big success in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. In Jaipur, the Sanjay Circle Police Station has busted a gang involved in mobile snatching incidents. The police have also arrested two gang accused and recovered 121 mobile phones, including several keypads and smartphones, from their possession.

The police had launched this campaign under the leadership of DCP North Parish Deshmukh and Additional DCP Dharmendra Sagar. Giving information about the campaign, Deshmukh said that the accused used to carry out incidents of mobile theft in a vicious manner and then sold them to the working-class people. Police informed that the accused have confessed to carrying out more than 300 incidents during interrogation. The police say that all the accused are addicted to drugs. According to the police, on January 5, 2022, after receiving information about a case of mobile theft, a special team was formed under the leadership of ACP Kotwali Suresh Sankhla and Sanjay Circle Station Officer Mohammad Shafiq and several CCTV cameras of the spot were searched.

Police informed that the miscreants had been carrying out mobile theft stolen in the city for a long time. According to police, the miscreants carried out about 5 to 7 mobile thefts every day. The accused also unlocked the lock on the stolen mobile by watching videos on YouTube.
