Two drug suppliers arrested in Delhi

New Delhi, India: Two persons were arrested in the national capital on Saturday for allegedly providing drugs, according to authorities.

They identified the suspects as Brijesh (26), a resident of Pooth Kalan village, and Vikram alias Bunty (37), a Sultanpuri resident.

Brijesh was apprehended on Wednesday after police received a tip that he was delivering drugs near Saheed Bhagat Singh Vyayam Shala in Pooth Kalan. According to a senior police officer, he had 100 grammes of heroin in his possession.

Brijesh admitted that he used to get illegal drugs from Vikram. Vikram was also detained, with 15 grammes of heroin seized from his vehicle, according to him. Brijesh had previously been charged with a crime and had been released on bond. According to police, Vikram has been involved in five previous criminal offences.
