In a written reply to the Delhi violence in the Lok Sabha, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said that the police has taken several measures to maintain law and order in the city. Adequate police personnel have been deployed in the violence-affected areas.

In his statement, Nityanand Rai further said that 120 FIRs have been registered. Section 144 has been imposed in the violence affected areas of Delhi. Police conducted a flag march in these areas. To avoid the spread of rumors, social media platforms are being monitored.

He reached Bagdogra Airport from Delhi on Saturday morning. Addressing reporters at the airport, he said that the rioters of Delhi are not well. Right now there is complete peace in Delhi. Delhi Police is doing everything possible to maintain peace. Many people have been killed and hundreds have been injured in this riot. Medical treatment of the injured is going on in hospitals. Delhi Police is investigating the entire case. Strict action will be taken against the culprits.
