Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa enjoyed Idlis and Vadas after meeting BJP president JP Nadda and Union minister Rajnath Singh at a restaurant at Ashoka Hotel in Delhi on Saturday. He had earlier met PM Narendra Modi on Friday. However, his visit has created a stir among political streets.
Speculations are rife about Yeddyurappa's possible replacement as CM after his arrival in Delhi, though he dismissed such rumors and said, "Not at all, and such a situation has not yet come." His visit to the Sagar Ratna restaurant at the hotel near Karnataka Bhawan was sudden.
After meeting JP Nadda and Rajnath Singh, Yediyurappa also ate idlis and vadas along with coffee. He was in the restaurant along with his son BY Vijayendra and grandson Shashidhar Mardi and MLC Lahar Singh along with private secretary Girish Hosur. After various meetings with Nadda and Singh, the CM said that he was told to strengthen the party in the state and ensure that it comes back to power. CM BS Yediyurappa had arrived in Delhi on Thursday on a special flight. His surprise visit to Delhi has once again intensified speculation about a leadership change in the state, which has been going on for the past few months.
