New Delhi: The monsoon is likely to arrive prematurely in the country this time. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Ministry (IMD) has predicted strong rainfall with strong winds of 20 to 40 kmph in the coming hours in some parts of Delhi, Haryana and western UP. These areas include Delhi, Farrukh Nagar in Haryana, Jhajjar, Palwal, Hodal, Manesar, Gurugram, Faridabad, Tijara and some districts of western UP.
The Meteorological Ministry shared this information on Friday. According to reports, southwest monsoon in Kerala is scheduled to arrive on May 31 this time. While normally the monsoon in this region falls on June 1. 'The southwest monsoon may hit Kerala on May 31 this year,' said IMD. After it rains here, the monsoon winds move north-west towards the Bay of Bengal.
