New Delhi: Due to dense fog in the capital Delhi NCR on Wednesday, along with road traffic, flight and train services have also been affected on a large scale. Visibility is almost zero. Let us tell you that the oppression of cold is still going on in Delhi NCR. Meanwhile, on Wednesday (December 27), dense fog has covered many areas of the capital, due to which visibility has reduced. Its direct impact is on flights, trains and road traffic. The process of delay in flights and trains has started on Wednesday morning.

Dense fog has affected 110 flights at Delhi airport. Due to almost zero visibility, the flights of these domestic and international flights have either been delayed or postponed. Not only this, 26 trains passing through Delhi are running late. These trains are late by 2.5 to 6:30 hours from their scheduled time. The traffic on the roads is almost crawling because due to the fog, nothing can be seen in front.

Passengers traveling by air have been advised to check with their respective airlines for updates on their flights before leaving home. An advisory has been issued by Delhi Airport regarding this. At least 50 flights at Delhi airport were affected due to fog on Tuesday. A source at Delhi Airport has said that due to dense fog, arrival and departure of flights are being delayed at the airport. Due to which passengers have to wait for flights in severe cold.

However, as stated in the flight advisory, although landings and takeoffs are still operational at Delhi airport, flights which are not CAT III compliant may be affected. Passengers are requested to contact the respective airlines for updated flight information. It has been told by the Meteorological Department that the temperature of the capital Delhi is also continuously falling due to dense fog. The minimum temperature has been recorded at 7 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, due to which the cold has increased further. The Meteorological Department has already issued an alert of dense fog in the capital Delhi and NCR along with Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh till Friday.
