
NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to announce the new Chief Minister of Delhi on February 19. The newly elected leader will take the oath on February 20 at Ramlila Maidan.
BJP MLAs to Meet on February 19
After winning a big majority in the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP will soon decide who will lead the government. Sources say that the newly elected BJP MLAs will gather on February 19 to choose their leader, who will also be the next Chief Minister of Delhi. Senior party leaders Vinod Tawde and Tarun Chugh have been given the responsibility of overseeing the process.
Swearing-In Ceremony on February 20
Initially, the meeting to pick the new CM was supposed to happen earlier, but it was postponed. Now, the BJP has confirmed that the decision will be made on February 19, and the swearing-in ceremony will take place on February 20 instead of February 18.
Who Will Attend the Swearing-In?
According to BJP sources, several high-profile guests will attend the ceremony, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers from different states, NDA leaders, Union Ministers, corporate leaders, film stars, cricketers, and spiritual leaders.

The BJP won 48 out of 70 seats, returning to power in Delhi after 26 years.
The victory ended the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) 10-year rule.
Voting took place on February 5, and the results were announced on February 8.
