On Tuesday, a hearing was held in the Delhi High Court on the issue of stopping the movement from the Delhi-Sonepat border. After a long debate over video conferencing, the Government of India sought some time to resolve this issue. On this, a bench of Justice Manmohan and Justice Sanjeev Narula said that two days time is given. If any opposing affidavit has to be filed, do so by Wednesday. The matter will be heard again on Thursday and it will be settled.

Haryana had filed its reply on the petition filed in the Delhi High Court against the decision of the Haryana Government to seal the border. Which said that corona patients found in Haryana have a link with Delhi.

In the hearing held on Tuesday, it was said from Haryana that the government has not given the order to seal the border. The DC of Sonepat issued this notification and the Faridabad, Gurugram and Bahadurgarh administrations did so on the same lines. On behalf of Haryana Government, it was said that Haryana has created a portal to travel and an application can be made on it. Since i-cards can be fake, travel cannot be allowed on them.
