Santiago Neeva, High Performance Director of Indian Boxing, has demanded the inclusion of seven more boxers in the ongoing national camp in Patiala. He said that everything is going well for the boxer who has been scheduled for the Olympics. Neeva said that the camp has been started again smoothly, and now it can be expanded.

In the midst of the same corona crisis, the initial step was taken to start the camp again at the National Institute of Sports in Patiala. It included the male boxer who has been scheduled for the Olympics and some female boxers, including the Silver Medalist of the World Championship and Olympic medalist Amit Panghal. Neeva said, 'We want to include seven more boxers, two coaches and one assistant member in this list in the next few weeks.'

For this, approval has been sought from the National Institute of Sports. The boxers here are under strict health protection protocol. I cannot name, but the ones we want to include are in the second place in the ranking of their respective categories. The camp was started in the first week of this month. For this, the boxer who came to Patiala was kept in isolation, and after inspection he was allowed to go to NIS. With this all the work was completed keeping the corona in mind.
