Kolkata: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed against West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Calcutta High Court. It has been alleged in the petition that Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar is doing unconstitutional work. He is creating hurdles in government work by going out of jurisdiction. Therefore, advocate Rama Prasad Sarkar has filed a public interest litigation against Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.
In the petition, he demanded the immediate removal of Jagdeep Dhankhar from his post. The plaintiff has raised the question that the governor is acting outside the constitution. How did he interfere in government affairs outside the jurisdiction? For this, he has filed a petition in the Calcutta High Court. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and the President of the country are also named in this petition. The next hearing of the case will be on February 11.
