Ahmedabad: With the arrest of a Pakistani doctor, who was accused of raping a patient in the ICU of Apollo Hospital, at least a dozen Pakistani doctors have resigned.

As per the reports, the doctors were asked to to put in their papers following the rape complaint against Dr. Rajesh Chauhan, a Pakistan national. The resignations have been confirmed by the spokesperson of Apollo Hospital, Sandip Joshi.

The police arrested Dr. Chauhan and a ward boy identified as Chandrakant Vankar on September 8 for raping a 19-year-old girl, who was being treated for dengue.
