Uttarakhand: A part of the Nandadevi glacier in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand was broken. At the same time, the officials of the Central Water Commission said, "The water of the Dhauli Ganga river in Joshimath is flowing at a dangerously high level." Indeed, an avalanche occurred due to the breaking of the glacier and then a deluge in the Alaknanda river system. The deluge swept the hydropower stations and more than 100 labourers were trapped, who are feared to be dead. Now recently, Saumitra Haldar, the chairman of the Central Water Commission, says that at 11 am, the water level in Joshimath was recorded at 1,388 meters. During the 2013 floods in Uttarakhand, the highest level of water (HFL) in Joshimath was 1,385.54 meters.

On this, Rajesh Kumar, Superintendent Engineer (Upper and Central Ganga Department) of the Central Water Commission (CWC) said that 'By six o'clock on Sunday evening, the water level of the river reached the normal level which was recorded a day before. Was. The water level is starting to decrease.' All that in Joshimath, the water level was 1,372.58 meters at 6 pm on February 6. At six o'clock on Sunday, after the disaster, the water level was 1,375 meters. Recently Rajesh Kumar has also stated that 'The situation was similar in Rudraprayag, Srinagar, Devprayag, Rishikesh and Devprayag.'

You all will know that on Sunday, a part of Nanda Devi glacier was broken in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district. Due to its breakdown, there was a sudden huge flood in the Rishiganga Valley. Till now the bodies of 10 people have been removed from there and even more than 150 people are reported missing.
