New Delhi: Because of his long and distinguished career, MS Dhoni has a tendency to have a significant impact on the entire cricket community.
Vikramjit Singh of the Netherlands recently opened up on his No. 7 shirt as an illustration of that. Dhoni famously wore the number while representing India, and he continues to do so while representing the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Vikramjit claimed that because to Dhoni's identification with the number, he does receive a lot of inquiries and supportive comments on social media. “I do get a lot of comments on that. That I have got Dhoni's number. Lot of people on social media, they love the No.7 on the back. Obviously, lot of MS Dhoni fans around there. 10 was my favourite number and unfortunately Timm Van Der Gugten has got that number so my next favourite number was seven and so that's the story behind it,” he explained in a video published by the ICC.

At one stage in their innings, the Dutch were 108/4 and appeared to be out of options. However, de Leede proved unstoppable as he pursued Scotland's 277/9 score. His 123 comprised seven fours and five sixes, two of which brought him to his century. His 113-run fifth-wicket stand with Saqib Zulfiqar (33no), which was essential to the victory, was also part of his 123.
The quadrennial championship of the sport, which will be held in India in October and November, will see the Dutch join Sri Lanka there. Their fifth participation in the competition will be their first since 2011.
