Bollywood actress Dia Mirza is enjoying her pregnancy phase these days. Recently, he has revealed that he is pregnant. In such a situation, he is in tremendous headlines today because of his personal life. You all will know that Diya announced her pregnancy after almost two months of marriage with Vaibhav Rekhi. After this announcement, many users on social media raised the question 'Did they get married due to pregnancy?'
Diya herself has responded. Recently, she has made it clear how wrong such thinking is. A follower commented on a post by Dia Mirza saying, 'It's good, congratulations but the problem is that she tried to break the stereotype through a female pandit, so why couldn't she announce a pregnancy before her marriage? Isn't being pregnant only after marriage a stereotype we follow? Why can't women be pregnant before marriage?'
Seeing this comment, Diya replied, 'Interesting questions. First, we didn't get married because our baby was coming. We were already married and wanted to live our lives with each other. We came to know that our baby was coming when we were preparing for our wedding. So this marriage is not because of pregnancy. We didn't announce the pregnancy until we found it safe (medical reasons).' She further wrote, "This is the happiest news of my life. I have waited for many years for this. There was no reason why I would have concealed the news except for medical treatment.''
The actress further explained why she has answered the user's question. She wrote:
1) Having a child is the most beautiful gift of life.
2) There should be no shame attached to this beautiful journey.
3) As a woman, we should do everything we like.
4) Whether we choose to be a single parent or get married, it should be our choice.
5) As a society, we should normalize the idea of what is right and what is wrong, but rather train ourselves to ask what is justice and what is injustice.
