Dia Mirza, who plays a significant part in Anubhav Sinha's most recent film Bheed, has published a letter on social media praising viewers for their reception. The Covid-induced lockdown and the subsequent migration in some areas of the country are the basis for the novel Bheed.

A picture of Dia and her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi is included with the unique note that Dia wrote. Both the mother and the son are grinning at the camera in the joyful photo. Dia stated in her caption that she made the film „for our children.“ and „I am so grateful for all the kind words coming our way for #Bheed. Thank you so much! I did this movie for our children. So, they can watch it someday and learn the power of empathy.
