Pakistan is facing a hard time as heavy rains and melting glaciers triggered unprecedented floods that left at least 1,265 people dead. Various Pakistani celebrities took to their social media accounts and asked for help. A report is surfaced on social media that Anil Kapoor has donated 5 crores for floods in Pakistan.

A Twitter handle named Satya Hi Sanatan wrote, “Anil Kapoor donated Rs 5 crore for the floods in Pakistan. If only! What was the problem if I had given it to any temple in India.” As soon as it catches the eyes of people they started trolling him. Anil Kapoor doesn’t reacted to the rumors and there is no official confirmation regarding this.

Earlier a report claiming that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have provided financial help to the flood victims of Pakistan. After the news came, people started trolling him on social media.  People are expressing their anger towards Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor due to this post. However, these reports were later called false.

A Pakistani Journalist took to his social media account and wrote, “I genuinely thought humanity knows no borders but it’s telling that hardly any Bollywood stars have posted about the devastating floods in Pakistan – raise awareness, share links, just show sympathy. They know how popular they are and how much that acknowledgment would mean.” 

The actress shared the same note and further wrote, ‘Suffering knows no nationality, race or religion – no better time for them to show us that they can rise above nationalist politics and care about their fans in Pakistan. We are hurting and a kind word or two would not go amiss.”
