New Delhi: A hearing is now going to be held in the Supreme Court on the negative report issued by Hindenburg, an American short seller company, for the purpose of making profits, regarding Adani Group. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the petitions challenging the report. In fact, the petitioners had claimed that the foreign firm had hatched a conspiracy, causing loss to the investors. Discussions are going on in India regarding this report from the streets to the Parliament.

As per reports, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the petitions tomorrow i.e. Friday (February 10). Two separate petitions were filed in the apex court by advocates ML Sharma and Vishal Tiwari against the Hindenburg Report. The petitions allege that Hindenburg conspired to 'short sell' Adani stocks, causing huge losses to the company's investors. Petitioner advocate Vishal Tiwari on Thursday asked for the matter to be listed for urgent hearing before Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud.

He told the bench that another petition has been filed in the matter, which is to be listed for hearing on February 10. The CJI-led bench comprises Justice PS Narasimha and Justice JP Pardiwala. He urged the court to hear his petition along with other petitions on Friday. Tiwari has also demanded a direction to set up a special committee to oversee the policy of sanctioning loans above Rs 500 crore to large companies.
