Popular actress Shilpa Shinde won the hearts of the audience with role of Angoori Bhabi on the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. However, a few years ago Shubhangi Atre replaced her as Angoori Bhabi. Shubhangi also managed to impress the views  and the audience accepted her. This was the second time Shubhangi replaced Shilpa. Earlier, Atre replaced her in the show Chidiya Ghar.

Shubhangi Atre, In an interview with Hindustan Times said that it was just a coincidence and she didn't want to replace Shilpa for the second time. The reason she said yes for Bhabiji was that her daughter Ashi made her rethink about the opportunity that was offered to her.

The actress Shubhangi Atre added, "I wasn’t scared to play the part, but had inhibitions that if something goes wrong then the character’s impact might get affected."

Shubangi also spoke about the longevity in the TV industry. Shubhangi said that confidence and sincerity helps a person to sustain.
