Bhopal: The construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh will start from the first week of August. The date of Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple has been fixed on 5 August. PM Modi himself will reach Ayodhya to worship the land of Ram temple. Earlier, veteran Congress leader and former CM Digvijay Singh has expressed his displeasure over Shankaracharya not being included in the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Nyas, who should be allowed to attend the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony of Ram temple.

Former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh has tweeted, 'Lord Ram is the center of our faith! And today the whole country is also running on Ram's faith. Former CM of Madhya Pradesh and veteran Congress leader Kamal Nath has welcomed the start of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. He has tweeted, "I welcome the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Countrymen had expected and longed for this for a long time. Ram temple is being constructed with the consent of every Indian, it is possible only in India."
