Kolkata: The controversy over his marriage to TMC Lok Sabha MP Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain is not going to stop. Bengal BJP state president Dilip Ghosh has now been included in the list of controversial statements in the case. Ghosh has called Nusrat Jahan a 'fraud' for making a statement about their marriage.

BJP Bengal unit president Dilip Ghosh, who has often made headlines for his controversial statements, has said nusrat was sworn in in parliament as a married woman. Nusrat Jahan now said in a statement that her marriage to industrialist Nikhil Jain is invalid in India. Making a statement on Nusrat Jahan, Dilip Ghosh said, "What is fraud, which was given ticket by TMC. The one who took oath is now saying that he did not even get married, he also planted vermilion, pulled a chariot, worshipped and won the election.''

Earlier, in 2019 Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain participated like a couple in the Rath Yatra organized by ISKCON in Kolkata. Ghosh not only made a statement on Nusrat Jahan but also commented on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, who attended Nikhil and Nusrat's reception in 2019.
