Kolkata: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president of West Bengal is once again in the limelight due to his controversial statement. During a program, he said that to sustain the existence of Hinduism, youth will now have to take up arms. Giving examples of gods and goddesses, he has said that all Hindu gods and goddesses have weapons in their hands. If anyone talks about non-violence, then grab and slap it. If someone attacks, take revenge on him before going to the police station, only then go to the police station.

Hindu Jagran Manch organized a function in West Midnapore area on Wednesday. BJP state unit president Dilip Ghosh was made the chief guest. Addressing the people present there, Dilip Ghosh said that Hindu youth will now have to take up arms to preserve their existence. If a coward tells you not to do so, then grab his neck.

He further said that Hindu society has never been cowardly. We have faced problems with sword, trident and gun. No deity has been shown empty-handed in our religion. One day there will also be a secular state. If someday the number of people of Hindu religion decreases then no one will come to speak. Amartya Sen will also not talk about secularism. Slogans of Pakistan Zindabad will be raised. So organizations have to be united.
