Dilip Kumar is a famous Bollywood actor and people are crazy about him. He is celebrating his 98 birthday today. Dilip Kumar's health is not well these days. His wife, Saira Bannu, spoke about it. His real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan and was born on 11th December 1922 in Peshawar (Pakistan). There was a time when Dilip's father had a good business of fruits in Pakistan and there was no money problem at home.
In the year 1947, the country was divided and thereafter the whole family came to India except for their land. It is said that as soon as Dilip came to India, his family had to face a lot of troubles because they have to start afresh life here. Dilip fought a lot after coming to Bombay (Mumbai) and then he met Dr Masani, which finally turned into a deep friendship. One day Dr Masani went to the Mistress of Bombay Talkiz, Devika Rani with Dilip Kumar. During that, Devika was very impressed with Dilip Kumar and after the meeting, it was decided that he would get a salary of Rs. 1250 per month.
Dilip Kumar made an entry in Bollywood after a long time. He worked in many films like Bol Papiha Bol (Tarana 1951), Huye Hum Jiske Liye Barbad (Didar 1951), Aaj Mere Mann Mein (Aan 1952), Takara Gaya Tumse (Aan 1952), Ab Aage Teri Marzi (Devdas 1955), Kitna Hansi Hai Mausam (Azad 1955), Maang Ke Sath Tumhara (Naya Daur 1957), Aaja Re Pardesi (Madhumati 1958), Madhuban Mein Radhika Nache Re (Kohinoor 1960), Khuda Nigeban Ho (Mughle Azam 1960), Do Sitaro Ka Zameen Par (Kohinoor 1960).
