Baldev Pathak used to sew clothes of big stars like Rajesh Khanna and Dilip Kumar at that time. But after suffering loss he closed the shop and passed away at the age of 51. Even after working in more than 120 films she spend her most of life in a rented house.

She has two daughters named Ratna Pathak and Supriya Pathak. His daughter Ratna married Naseeruddin Shah and Supriya married Pankaj Kapoor. Ketan Mehta's 'Mirch Masala' worked with Dina, both his daughters with him and son-in-law Naseeruddin Shah. did. Dina Pathak passed away on 11 October 2002.
