Achchamundu! Arunachalam Vaidyanathan, the director of Achchamundu, has tested positive for COVID-19's Omicron form. Arunachalam Vaidyanathan shared the bad news on Twitter "My house has a new visitor, and I believe his name is Omicron. As of yet, he has been polite and has not made any unreasonable demands. People that spoke with me via WhatsApp, Messenger, and other forms of social media.. God bless you all."

Arun Vaidyanathan is currently working on Shot Boot 3, a children's film. The film's production has come to an end. Shot Bhoot 3 stars Venkat Prabhu, Sneha, and Yogi Babu and is produced by Universe Creations and Tridents Arts. In the film, Sneha will portray a tough, domineering mother. In Venkat Prabhu's Goa, Sneha played a cameo part. She also worked with Arunachalam Vaidyanathan on his debut film Achchamundu! Achchamundu. The film's soundtrack was produced by Veena virtuoso Rajesh Vaidhya, while the editing was handled by Sathish Suriya. The film's release date has yet to be announced.
