The famous film director of South Industries Gokul always remain in discussions for some reason or the other. He is known for making his career debut with Jiiva, Shriya starrer film Rowthram, and continues to score a hit with Vijay Sethupathi starrer superhit comedy film Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara.

After directing films like Kaashmora with Junga and Karthi, the director recently announced a new project, Corona Kumar, with Vijay Sethupathi again which will be a spin-off of Sumar Moonji Kumar character from Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara.

On the other hand, the director is currently working on a single film, which is a remake of the Malayalam survival thriller Helen and this movie features Keerthi Pandian and her father Arun Pandian. It has been speculated that this movie is produced by A and P groups and has been titled Anbuku Iniyal and an official clarification on this rumor is expected soon.
