According to reports, Vikram starrer multilingual mythological film Mahavir Karna is directed by RS Vimal was dropped. The director has also announced the new film Dharma Rajya. However, now Vimal has clarified on Mahavir Karna's position and said that it will be released soon.
In a recent interview, Vimal has stated that he was disappointed to see Mahavir Karna's news to be dropped and revealed that Vikram will soon join the shooting of Mahavir Karna after he completes Cobra and Ponniyin Selvan. As it will take time for Karna to resume, Vimal has announced his next film Dharma Rajya.
He said that Mahavir Karna's shooting was started last year and some parts were shot such as intro scenes of Vikram's character. Vimal has said that the team is ready with a trailer which will be released after the lockdown situation ends.
