Kolkata: Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna starrer ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ which explores Former Manmohan Singh's tenure as the Prime Minister of India, and the kind of control he had over his cabinet and the country. A movie based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also to release. Referring to the movie, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, on Friday, said that today if there is a movie on Accidental Prime Minister, a movie will be made on the 'disastrous Prime Minister'.
While addressing a gathering at a government programme in North 24 Parganas in West Bengal, Banerjee said, "There should be a movie titled Disastrous Prime Minister. This will be made in future. No one will be spared,"
West Bengal CM attacked on BJP government and said that the BJP government has 'not spared Durga puja clubs' and issued IT notices to puja committees and referred to PM Modi as 'Gabbar Singh'. She said “Now, they have not spared the Durga puja clubs too. CM further added that,”They are scaring the puja Committees through notices from the Income Tax. Durga Puja committees are non-profit organisations, they do not make any profits by celebrating the pujas. Hence, this does not fall in the ambit of Income Tax. Citizens here contribute to the pujas and the central government does not help them with a single penny.”
