Bollywood film actress Divya Dutta is celebrating her birthday today. Divya Dutta may have appeared as a co-star in films but her acting has always been loved. She has acted in several movies including Hindi, English, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

Divya Dutta made a special impression on-screen with her performance in more than 100 films. She was born in 1977 in Ludhiana, Punjab. She belongs to a Punjabi Hindu family. Divya Dutta's father passed away when she was seven years old. Divya's mother then brought her up alone. Divya Dutta's mother Dr Nalini Dutta was a government official. Divya was very young at the time of the Sikh riots in Punjab in 1984. In an interview, she had said that she was very scared at the time of the riots.

Divya Dutta had been fond of acting since childhood. Divya Dutta started her acting with the 1994 film 'Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna.' Divya used to model for Regional TV Commercials in Punjab before coming to Bollywood. Not only that, but she also dubbed Lisa Ray's voice in Lisa Ray and Aftab Shivdasani's movie 'Kasoor.'
