The popular comedy show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' of the television world has been entertaining the audience since 2008. Due to so many years, this television serial has seen many ups and downs, many stars were added to the serial, while many established stars had also said goodbye to this serial due to this. One such role is that of 'Daya Ben' which was played by actress Disha Vakani.

Let us tell you that the role of Daya Ben played by Disha is very famous among the audience, but in the year 2017, Disha Vakani took maternity leave from the serial, after which she has not returned to the serial to date. According to the reports received, it was tried many times by the makers of the serial to make Disha's comeback but nothing happened.  

In the meantime, there were also reports that the makers of the serial are approaching television's famous actress Divyanka Tripathi for the role of Daya Ben, however, it was later revealed that Divyanka had also refused to play the role of Daya Ben. In fact, Divyanka did not want her to play a role already established by an artist, and Divyanka Tripathi's entire emphasis was on playing a role that is fresh. However, according to media reports, the makers of the serial say that they want Disha to make a comeback in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, but if she does not come, then the serial will go ahead with the new Daya Ben.
