New Delhi: Pollution in the air of the National capital is continuously increasing. There was a lot of pollution during the drizzle on Sunday evening. Two-wheelers started sliding on the road when it started raining in the evening. During this time, most people felt that oily material is raining. After that people started calling fire brigade. Immediately, at night, till 8 o'clock, 59 calls of oily material fell on the road received. After receiving the call, the fire department put water at the place mentioned by the callers and shed the slippery substance from there.
In this regard, Atul Garg, Director of the Fire Department said, 'The condition of pollution in the capital was already very bad due to very slow wind speed. Burning firecrackers on Diwali worsened the situation. With this, he said, 'Smoke coming out of the trains with dust particles in the air was also included. The mixture of smoke and dust particles took the form of viscous material when it came down on the road with light rain. Had the rains been faster, such a situation would not have happened, the sticky material would have drained into the drains with water. '
He said, 'When the rain started at 4.15 pm, a similar slippery substance came on the roads in many areas of the capital. Bike and scooty riders started falling on the road as soon as they applied brakes. They felt that mobil oil fell on the road. In this case, a senior officer of the fire department said that 'such calls have come for the first time in Delhi'.
