1. Hyundai Venue: The first name on this list is the Hyundai Venue. The starting ex-showroom price of the good-looking compact SUV is Rs 6.75 lakh.  It comes with three engine options.  One of them is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel BS6 engine.  It produces 90bhp and 220Nm of peak torque.

2. Kia Sonet: Kia Motors sells new flags on its newly launched compact SUV.  Bookings for muscle compact SUVs started from August 20.  So far, 50,000 units have been booked in the last two months and many bookings show that people are getting very cheap about this SUV.  Two orders should be booked every three minutes.  The ex-showroom price of Kia Sonet in India starts at Rs 6.71 lakh.  This car will have the first features of more than 30 squares.  The car is equipped with 57 attached features.  Sonet was launched on September 18.  The Kia Sonet offers 3 engine options, including an improved 1.5 CRD diesel engine that produces 100 PS power with a 6-speed manual transmission, while other G1.0T-GD petrol engines produce 120 PS power.  This engine is placed in 6iMT and 7DCT smart streams.  The third is the Antos Smartstream G12 petrol engine, which produces a power of 83 PS with a 5-speed manual transmission.

3. Nissan Magnite: The compact SUV will be launched around Diwali.  This SUV will be Nissan's cheapest car in India.  However, the price has not yet been announced.  But it is estimated to cost around Rs 5.20 lakh.  Customers can naturally find the 1.0-litre petrol engine they need.  The engine produces 71 bhp of power and peak torque of 96 Nm.  The company is also offering a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

4. Mahindra XUV300: This compact SUV of Mahindra is still a favourite among users.  There are reports that the company would bring its electric version in 2021.  Delhi ex-showroom price is Rs 7.95 lakh.  There are petrol and diesel engines in terms of engine and power.  The petrol version is powered by a 1197cc engine producing 108.59 hp at 5000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 2000-3500 rpm.  It comes with 6-speed manual transmission.  Diesel variants have an engine of 1497 cc which produces 115 hp and 1500-2500 ppm 300 nm torque at 3750 rpm.  It comes with manual and automatic transmission options.

5. Toyota Urban Cruiser: Maruti Suzuki has just launched Vitara Breza as a city cruiser with Toyota New Beijing.  Prices of this sub-compact SUV start at Rs 8.40 lakh.  The Urban Cruiser will come with a Maruti Suzuki Vitara Breza with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine.  This engine produces a maximum of 103 bhp of power and peak torque of 138 nm.  The engine is placed for 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission.
