The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party today approached the Madras high court asking it to declare the trust vote of chief minister EK Palaniswami null and void. The court will hear the issue tomorrow.
MK Stalin the DMK working president earlier announced that their party to protest the trust vote will launch a hunger strike.
EK Palaniswami won the majority trust votes in the Assembly where 122 MLAs voted for him where DMK members misbehaved due to which the house was got adjourned twice.
