The Central Government has asked all the companies to sell phones in India with the assurance of taking care of Users Privacy and Data Safety. The government has also asked these questions as to whether all these companies guarantee the protection of common people's privacy and data.

The government's eye is especially on Chinese companies because China's mobile phone market in India is a very big.

At present, the Central Government has sent a notice to 21 companies seeking information. It is a matter of note that most of these companies are from China and they include big companies like Apple and Samsung. All these Smartphone Manufacturers have been given time to respond to August 28.
