Jaipur: In a bizarre incident in Jaipur,the capital of Rajasthan, a stray dog was beaten to death by 3 unidentified men , officials said on Thursday. The video of the incident in the Sushilpura area of Sodala went viral on social media.

A young woman attempted to help the dog while two men were hitting it with sticks. However, both of them mistreated the girl. When the girl mentioned complaining to the police, more friends of both individuals arrived and began making a scene. The issue concerns Sushilpura in Jaipur.

Vinita Soni, a local physiotherapist, reportedly complained to the police that two young people viciously killed a dog next to her home. The report states that the incident happened on Wednesday. The woman informed the police that when she was outside the house, she witnessed two males striking the dog with a stick. Both of the males mistreated her when she tried to save the puppy.

Both individuals claimed that the dog is crazy. Regarding this, Vineeta advised him to tie him up if he was angry before notifying the Municipal Corporation. It is not acceptable to beat a dog with a stick. According to Vinita, the dog was beaten with sticks and eventually died in misery. 

The report has been registered, said Dharmendra Kumar, an officer at the Sodala Police Station.  On the basis of people's complaint, a case under section 429, and 34 of IPC and also under section 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act 1960 was registered," a police officer said.
