New Delhi: The people have once again suffered a major shock of inflation. Oil companies have hiked the prices of domestic gas (14.2 kg) cylinders by Rs 50. Now the price of a domestic cylinder will be Rs 999.50 per cylinder. Earlier, in March 2022, the prices of domestic cylinders were increased by Rs 50.

On the same month, on one date of the same month, oil companies had increased the prices of LPG gas by Rs 102.50. The price was increased on a 19 kg commercial cylinder. After the price hike, the new price of this blue cylinder is now Rs 2355.50 in Delhi. Earlier, it was priced at Rs 2,253. At the same time, the price of a 5 kg LPG cylinder is now Rs 655. A month ago, on April 1, the prices of LPG cylinders were also increased by Rs 250. Earlier, on March 1, the price of a 19-kg commercial gas cylinder had been increased by Rs 105, while on March 22, it was increased by Rs 9.

It is increasing the burden on the pockets of the people due to the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, cooking gas prices and the prices of essential commodities. Amid rising inflation, now your loans will also become costlier, as the RBI has increased the repo rate. The argument is that the increase has been made to control inflation. Now the question is, will expensive loans stop inflation? Fuel prices have risen sharply in the last few days.
