US President Donald Trump said they have not agreed to sign any deal for the sale of the Chinese video app Tik Tok until they look at the offer. Speaking to the same reports, Trump said, "As far as National Security is concerned, this deal should be 100%. Otherwise I am not ready to sign anything. I'd like to see a deal. We need security, especially with China as we have seen. '

Trump further stated that he would be presented with a report on the status of Ticketcock's transactions on Thursday. On August 6, Trump signed an executive directive that was effective for 45 days. Under this, any US transaction with Chinese company BiteDance was banned. That same August 14, the US President issued another executive order, in which TikTok was to deliver its operations to the American company within 90 days.

The Sputnik reported that the US software company Oracle has led the bid to acquire TikTok's US operations from ByteDance. At the same time, the Trump Administration has threatened to ban TikTok by 20 September and ordered ByteDance to sell its business to a US company, claiming national security risks due to Chinese ownership. It is now to see what a decision is taken on this.
